In my games I use a new set up every time so each set up is used once. I currently have 20 set ups. These set ups are modiano platinum, poker size jumbo acetate. Full disclosure - some of the guys at my game peel the cards so some of the cards may be creased. I did not look thru the decks to figure out which decks have creased cards. However, if someone were to buy all 20 set ups they would definitely have many usable decks in excellent condition. Each set up comes with cut cards.

sale price Is $100 plus shipping (if applicable) - that is $5/set up - (I paid about $17/set up). A couple things:

1. Priority goes to anyone attending the
@Seeking Alpha Social Club meet up. I would rather just hand them over without shipping.
2. I want to sell all 20 set ups to one person. Some decks may have creased cards and other may not. I am not planning on sifting through all the decks to determine which decks are good.
3. CONUS only.
Thanks!

@Goldfish If you don't mine my asking, where are you getting these for $17 a setup? Everywhere I've looked it's more like $25 all the way up to $35.

1. They poker size
2. Owner is real eccentric to use a setup for just one game
3. Great deal, despite all the Modiano shit storm, Platinums are great

Definitely not eccentric. But given the size of the game, it is a very good idea to open a new set up in front of the players before each game.

and yes, I have used all brands of cards, and think that modianos hold up the best over the course of the night.

I don't call it eccentric. It's good practice for game security, especially with anymore than cheeseburger stakes in play.

I got Cartamundi for the event when hosting tourist that were afraid the cards were marked.
Eccentric? Depends on stakes you are playing... Anyway 17 usd per setup is a bargin

Btw, anyone can get modiano platinum for about $17/set up. Go to the modiano website. If u buy more than $250, u can use a 20% off coupon code (on the website). A bulk set of 12 setups is $227. I buy 2 bulk sets and with the 20% discount, each setup comes to about $17/setup.

Only in America

@Bluegrass Poker
Sad but true. Cheapest in Poland is 28 usd per set. Per one game its expensive, especially if you play 1/2 and you have to cover the cost.
Anyway group buy for Platinium sounds reasonable for USA based PCF members, great cards.

Wow, I can't imagine having to worry about ANY plastic cards holding up for one night of play. What do your players do that causes them to crease? I'm guessing it must be a pretty high stakes game? Interested.

A few of the guys that play are baccarat players so they peel the cards which can lead to creasing. Also if someone is running bad they can request a new setup (but they must pay for it). I have gone through as many as 4 setups in a night.
