Mine arrived yesterday.

Has anyone in Canada received their buttons yet? I'm trying to get an idea how long cross border shipping is taking. Thanks!

Not yet. Mine are stuck in Chicago. Have been for 2 weeks :(. To be honest this is my third 2+ week delay with the USPS in the last month. Thing's seem pretty bad

I saw that on the USPS tracking site. That's what I was trying to figure out. I was hoping they had left the US and were now being tracked by your postal service. Darn...
This is what happens when CBSA drags their ass. It's sitting in the airport at Toronto. 100%

All of sudden one day, they'll get to it, and it'll say, your item has arrived blah blah blah!

The odd time, they don't even scan it and it shows up in your mailbox 6 weeks later.

That's what I assumed. The other delays I'm having have been in the US though. One thing I shipped from Canada to PA and got stuck for 3 weeks after being scanned in Philly, and a thing from eBay in the US going to the international shipping center in KY that got stuck for 2 weeks in Columbus. Those 2 definitely weren't customs related, so I'm not sure if the USPS is having issues or something

I know things were really bad in Toronto during the 2 weeks they were quarentining an entire shift of workers from the sorting plant, so I assumed there were similar issues in America

From my experience, when shipping to Canada, add two to three weeks to however long you think it should take to get there. It’s weird. I had a package sent to France in a bubble mailer arrive in about a week, but Canada always gives me big shipping delays.

And apparently this does not effect coming the other way. I had something sent to me from Canada that I got last week and it only took 8 days.

Correct. I think it has something to do with the mounties. They seem suspect.
It's actually the CBSA. They are pretty much a bunch of autonomous and highly corrupt individuals who drag their asses. Pure and simple. These same problems, and wait times existed well before Covid, so I can't hear all this BS about it being Covid.

The Royal Mounties of Canada have some integrity, but obviously corruptible like any police force, and in noway intervene or impede mail flow in Canada.

Why I can send a package to France, UK, and USA in 9 or less days, consistently, and not receive from the same countries in less than a month is beyond me. It also highlights that the breakdown in the system, the flow of mail, is at CBSA. Once Canada Post gets control, they are actually pretty good.

Honestly, I'm pretty sure CBSA/Canada Post doesn't care about the order packages flow through. As a Canadian there's a huge variance with times of international packages...anywhere from a week to twelve weeks. Best guess is that they open containers at random as opposed to in the order they come in, so some things skip right through while others get pushed to the bottom

On the other hand I've had a few 2+ week delays in the US recently, both with things coming to me and Canada and also things travelling domestically to an American reshipper. Had delays in Cincinnati, Philadelphia, Pittsburg, and somewhere else, all over 2 weeks, and a couple of them over 3 weeks of just not being scanned or moving, and then just reappearing and continuing on as if nothing happened. Maybe the USPS has a few facilities closed/fewer workers if there was an COVID-19 outbreak at the sorting plant or something.

Apologies for bumping an old thread but does anyone have any NCC DBs they’d be willing to part with?

I will be getting two of the white no-borders buttons (I think both are DB4 but one could be DB6) with the NCC cards mold set that I bought, so would prefer any of the more colorful ones. Thanks for your help!
