It's about time (even if it was over a year ago) that there was a site developed with a post 2010 feel, that wasn't a cluster frig of a bajillion links on the home page. Loved the community, hated the design. Not like I'm leaving the other spot but, just good to know there's a site that keeps things simple. Thanks for having me.

A little about me...

- I'm 36, I enjoy live and online poker, all forms, even fixed limit.
- My chip history goes something like, abs plastic < slugged dice < Nexgen with labels < free Nevada Jacks and Desert Sands from PokerSource < BCC Modern Clay < Pharaoh's Club China clays. Currently waiting on the newest China Clay incarnation from The Chip Room like most of us.

Here's a few pics of poker stuff I either have or have had.

Welcome to PCF. Very nice collection you have there.

Glad to be here.

Sadly, I no longer have any of those chips. I didn't think we needed more Pharaoh's Club pics which is the only set I have now along with some Empress $5 and $25.

How did you like those BCC chips?

They were great, but after a couple of years I felt the need for change and sold them. I kind of regret it but I'll eventually have a set that I'll be content with.

i like those ceramics you didn't end up picking up, particularly the mint green $25 with the polar bear. i have a soft spot for chips with only graphics and no name. who did the sample printing, PGI?

It was the guy from Straight Flush Poker Supplies in Calgary Alberta, Canada. They're now defunct, but he was great to work with. I still may revise them if i can find a good price. Haven't been lookin. What are the options for custom ceramics now a days?

PGI has a sale for 20 cent custom ceramics if you don't mind them picking the edge spots.

I sent Joe an email about artwork specification but I didn't get a response. I prolly won't do it now, with the chiproom's Derby Paulsons. Although I'll likely get labels through PGI. They've always been great.
