Peach or Grey? Grey or Peach?

For what it’s worth, I’m trying to build a full Starburst set as close to traditional Vegas Colors are possible. The frac is the chip in question! Please help me pick!

Grey or Peach?? Peach or Grey?

If you are using Starburst for the whole set without denominations, Peach would be best for fracs since its universally accepted. Grey would be a good choice if your fracs are dimes.

I'm actually thinking gray here. In a vacuum, peach is the better color, of course, but I think it kind of clashes with these traditional colors.
Also, peach is a shade of orange, which is really just a shade of red, which is the same color as your five. Strange thing to say, but those are the kinds of thoughts that go through my head.

Color police have agreed to stand back...

$1's, $5's and $25's remind me of an unspotted Point Defiance set. You could always use a blue for the frat like Point Defiance Cafe and Card Room did

Looks like trending to peach. I have no issue with that!!!!

I'm just not a fan of pinkish fracs with red $5s. They're usually close in color value and fracs to $5s are all warm colors. Potential dirty stack issue.

I like having a cooler color for a frac instead when it comes to white $1s and red $5s, so grey is my pick.

Peach is undoubtedly the correct choice.

But if it were me, I would choose grey.

So I was in the same boat as those who felt peach clashed a bit with the standard colors.

75-25 vote seems to indicate this is ok though!

The goal of the set is for people to think as little as possible despite non-denominations (only 2-3 colors in play at any limit...what people are used to - even if a chip represents a penny vs a dollar!, etc).

Thanks to all who voted!!!

So the Peach are now my frac. The tribe has spoken!

What do people think about the Greys as a $5000? It’s a pretty drab $5000 but I’m not sure there’s a better starburst option?

(Other than the spotted starbursts which are my lifelong goal to fill my $1000+ racks with but I have to be realistic!!!)

Thoughts anyone?

Sorta feels like someone going into the confessional room to try to save their friend!

Look, I shared the concern which is what prompted the question, but it seems heavy majority is ok with it.

But since it matches so well...thoughts on the new question?

If we become technical...grey is as much black as it is white ;)

I would go blue and use grey as hundos...(imho)
Nice set btw
Regardless of how long it takes, 100s will be black. Worst case, charcoal.

Thanks for the input though!

edited: oh...and THANKS!

FYP ;)
Charcoal will flow a LOT better

Still think a blue quarter would be the way to go...peach nor grey feel 'right'

Charcoal is all I can find in the last 6mo so you may win by default! Lol !

I had a rack of blue that I really didn’t like for the set. Remembering that my goal is to be as traditional as possible regardless of what color looks prettiest, wouldn’t you agree blue = $10 to most?

That really depends. Blue may be a traditional $10 in a Vegas progression if the casino uses a white $1. But, with seemingly more Vegas casinos using a blue $1, you're probably not seeing many live $10s if you see them at all. Fracs are disappearing, anyway.

Point conceded...but this set is already fixed on a while $1!
