Wich "Hoershoe" chips are your favorite? (1 Viewer)

Just a joke buddy, no one here means any harm!! Great choice and Hope you get your dream set!! There are probably Horseshoe chips in the UK if you ask around it would definitely help save on shipping!!
I'm looking everywhere, of course.
Yes, I understood the joke ;) I know a little English but old enough ;)

Hi everyone!

@allforcharity, you're right, I supose I'll buy those chips I like more and I can affort, of course. But I don't think I have to be swayed (I not sure of the meaning, I only know a little of English) for yours opinions. I thought It was interesting to know what Horseshoe chips you apreciate more, that's all. As you say. in Europe only have boring chips or expensive "eBay" chips, I only remember to touch one Paulson The National I had a few yeras ago.

I apreciate a lot all kind of opinions, althought I'm not sure about the meaning of whoreshoes...:confused ...Don't be bad...

Well, I know that most European casinos prefer using high-end plastic chips like Bourgogne et Grasset and Abbiati, with probably some occasional ceramics available as well (not sure if there is a preferred manufacturer for those). The Horseshoe Southern Indiana chips that are available are as good as any, and perhaps even better because of large quantities that were available, and many/most in Excellent or better condition. Perhaps you could persuade someone to sell you at least an original sample set, so you can see them all in their best condition.

Agreed Bernie but damn thise sample sets quickly became collectors items. I have seen a few for sale already so with any luck if anyone sees a sample pop up tag our new friend @CarlosStorm!!

@BonScot those are the THC version though expensive and difficult to build a set around that and maintain the same mould. Unless you don't mind mixing with RHC.
I think the Cleveland $1 chips are THC and the rest of the Cleveland’s aren’t. Mind you I could be wrong...

Mixing THCs with RHCs isn't so much of an issue (casinos have been doing it anyway).
The hard part would be mixing casino-used chips with home-used/near-mint/mint ones.
