Just getting into getting premium poker chips for home games. I really like the elite line from Apache - and it appears to be a gateway drug to even better chips (though I really do like the feel and look of them)

Looking forward to getting to know you guys better. Any advise on where to start when getting started (other than getting samples - which I plan to do) :)

Welcome! I would advise starting small and simple. After samples come in enjoy them for a bit, shuffle them, experience them this will help you identify pros and cons, as well as personal preference. Also I recommend researching lots of different chips, their prices, and availability. These things may factor in to what you ultimately decide to go with.
Side note - avoid singles, that is a dangerously expensive collection game lol

I would start out with something small and affordable to your budget. Sometimes dipping the toes in the goods too quickly results in unfinished projects, which is fun, but can hold up funds for other possibilities. Keep your options open, and if you have any questions please ask!

Hello and welcome!

Free Paulson samples are available for evaluation, all sorts of conditions and molds, just waiting for sign-up.

Oh, by the way, your liquid assets are (gonna be) screwed.

Welcome to the PCF.
The first subject that comes to mind is ‘Supply & Demand.’
Find the chips that you want, obviously.
But back track through the classifieds and get a feel for their supply.
Are you chasing a unicorn or are you essentially on a 3-month waiting list for someone to cash-in their chips?
Some sets are only one PM away...
But just make sure that you don’t submit your PayPal transaction until you have a reasonable understanding of that dynamic for ‘your’ chips.
