I wanted to move my mock-up over here since I wasn't able to view any of the comments or feedback on "the other site". I also made some minor changes. I changed the base color of the $20 chip from Peach to Arc Yellow and changed the yellow edgespot from Dayglo Yellow to Saturn Yellow which I saw is available through CPC. Any feedback is most welcome.

Also, the denominations are .25/$1/$5/$20 respectively. I think I might just shoot the moon and do a 200/400/400/200 breakdown.

Love these. Great colors and contrast. Might try dark green instead of dg green on the $20 but that's just my personal taste.

I tried that, but I just didn't really care for the way it looked. My biggest concern is that the first two chips don't change in edge spot colors, but the second two do. Does anyone see a problem with this? I really love the way each chip looks, and I've played around with the design a lot and can't seem to find a combination that I like more.

Do you have a Saturn Yellow sample in hand? It's a great option, but is a greenish yellow. Even more green than BCCs version. I like it, but it looks different than the CF shows.

I don't. I'm going to be ordering the full sample set from CPC soon, so there may be some minor tweaking afterwards. Thank you for the heads up though.

I really like the 25¢, $1, and $5. Not completely sold on the $20 and don't have any suggestions off the top of my head...not very helpful, I know.

I think one of the hardest things is that I'm doing all unweighted colors. It would bother me if one chip had the brass flakes (which I'm not too crazy about) while all the others didn't.

I think the reason I like the $20 chip as is is because of how it reminds me of the T1000 chip in the BCC GCR line. It's my favorite chip in the whole set and I completely missed out on that group buy. For me it's kind of a way to make up for that.

This maybe?

I appreciate your consideration, but I think I'd really like to stick with the chip I have. Of course that may change when I see the color samples in person.

Designing outside the box using a non-standard/common color for a $20 is good. I'm just always stuck in the box. ;)

I like this lineup better than the original, although I did like the peach $20 a lot. Not sure about the saturn yellow, you may not like it very much after you have the samples in-hand. I'd probably keep the peach $20 and use arc yellow on the red $5, but that's me.

On the denominations/quantities.... have you considered going with 25/100/500/2000 and no currency symbols? Can be used as cents (essentially 25c, $1, $5, $20) or as tournament units. Great dual-purpose set, especially given your projected quantities. It's definitely the direction I'm going with my custom set. Can always add a 5 and/or 10000 later for smaller/larger cash stakes or tournaments.

To be honest, I'm still toying around with all these ideas. I'll know more when I have samples in hand. However, if I want a shot at getting these made I would have to sell my Protege cash set, and I really love those chips. [emoji17]

Nah, just keep the Proteges and sell me the GCOP's. I'll even throw in a couple racks of Protege 500's and 1000's. Win-Win :)
