Asking about Vegas fracs (1 Viewer)

I would doubt it. No money in it for them with stakes that low to pay out in fracs.

I think there are a fair amount of live fracs in California and some other states. Not sure about quarters, but there are half-dollars for sure.

Gear does a screaming business in making frac labels to match all sorts of casino chip series that never included fracs.

If there are quarters in any Vegas casino, they are going to be cheap hot stamp plastics. Unicorns or Bud Jones 4 suits.

The last few racks of mint clay fracs I borrowed were from Northern California cardrooms. And they learned the hard way...all the fracs were gone within a few months. Some Cali cardrooms still have Bud Jones fracs. But I seriously doubt there will be any in Vegas or Reno areas. Or else packs of Chip Donkeys would be all over them.

Alternative option, harvest $1 chips and overlabel for 20 cents per chip (10 cents per label). Example below.

Live I doubt it
youd have a better chance try to piece together a rack of something like this for something SWEET and epic history

I know one guy who put that rack together. It could be done. There is a flood of binions coming out lately depending
on your budget

The Binions 25c chocolate quarters are not impossible to find as well a rack of those could happen

If I were building a set around a casino-ish design (I'm not) and wanted to include fracs (I don't) then I would do the very same thing. Looking at other people's pr0n, I have to say I really like the way a set looks when the workhorse chips are plentiful and colorful and the frac chip is a small supply of hotstamped solids. It gives the set some character.

Thanks a lot for the input! Those look fantastic! I didn’t think you could copy the original label. Where could I get those or rather other labels made?
Thanks, I was thrilled to find the chips, then someone to do the labels, for my mixed house mold set. I love playing poker with these chips.

I think label vendors will reject orders for live labels with increased denominations, but in this case I devalued the chips by 75% of their worth - plus the Top Hat & Cane security symbol wasn't replicated on the new label. I suggest you start a dialog with @Gear - you'll find great advice there. (Although, I do remember some Caesar $2's and Aria $3's becoming $20's...)

BTW, I picked up the harvested $1's via PCF. With some casinos reopened, harvesting is possible again - so that's good.
