When the Cleveland Horseshoes were released, we were all treated to this beauty:

Are there any more? I don't think I've ever seen another chip with this spot pattern?
And why on god's green earth have none of the NAGB's used this spot pattern? Is it unavailable? Is it only available on the RHC mold?
I want to see more chips like this!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know why we haven't seen more of these chips, but CPC needs to get on this.

On second thought, maybe not, because I'd need to take out a loan...

Only this one which is 8th pie

And the greatest chip of all time come to mind! (I do understand that this is an opinion!)

But again an 8th pie. I agree it is amazing that no one else wanted to pay the tab on having such amazing chips made!

Not to detract from those gorgeous chips, but you do realize you're missing the "flower" part of the 6 pie flower, right?

THC with standard inlays would’ve showcased this spot beautifully

^ This. The flower can barely be seeing on an inlaid chip.

Having said that, a custom hot stamp set with all chips using that spot pattern would look amazing imo, provided the color choices are right.

I'm salivating at the thought of a 6-pie CPC set on the Plain or any mold for that matter with a distinct outer ring (A, B, Jockey, DiaSquare, etc.)

I love the flower, but I believe it is a 3 color only chip, and only 2 of the colors are visible from the edge. For those reasons, it does not get a lot of love from the gurus.

If Paulson opened up to the home market, I would get a T500 with this pattern.

Unless you can color match the flower color exactly it's going to make for a fugly looking inlay most of the time.
Black "flower", black inlay, 2 shades of pink/purple.

Boom.

The tough part is getting it to play with the rest of the set. That flower takes up a lot of chip-face real estate, and you wouldn't want it to blend in with the hundos in a bizzare dirty-pot scenario.

Yeah, that Horseshoe $500 chip design is beyond awful, almost enough to sour the serious chipping world totally from ever using the spot pattern.

I think they could be configured to create an outstanding hot-stamped set, but adding inlays and not having them come off as garish would be a real challenge...... if not impossible.

I'd like to see it on a THC with a smaller inlay. But since we know that GPI/Paulson utterly fails (for whatever reason) at color matching - the inlay should compliment the clay colors, not attempt to match.

When these first showed up i was excited, because I never knew this pattern existed, but after some thought it is really a design nightmare. It requires some very specific design to really make it work, not only good color matching but you are kind of shoehorned into a design that fits those flower spots to make any sense. And how you would make that design work with the rest of a set. It's really more suited to a one-off type chip (bounty, rebuy, etc.... )

Would make for a good design contest (even though chips are not available......next NAGB maybe) to see who could come up with something that looks good.

Somebody could do some Haight-Ashbury flower power psychedelic set. It would be obnoxious. I’d like to see it.
