Hi everyone,

I finally decided to upgrade from my first ever set of poker chips and thought I would share the designs.

I currently own some plastic diamond poker chips which I've had for years. I've been wanting to get a nice set for a while but never really got round to it. During lockdown, when I had some spare time on my hands, I found this forum and decided to design my own. There's lots of great ideas / information and inspiration for mew members!

The chips will be used for a home tournament set-up for about 10 friends.

I spent a while playing round on Inkscape and got the designs to a reasonable place. But wasn't happy enough to pull the trigger and go to print. I reached out to @Johnny5 who agreed to help. John was great and very easy to work with. He helped clean up the designs, re-size, colour match and make them look much better!

I plan on ordering from @ABC Gifts and Awards. I have sent off the artwork so now have to wait for the proofs as I'm in the UK. Then IJust need to decide if I go 39mm or 43mm

Cheers

43mm  have you sampled this size yet?

The colors look nice, I also really like the quarter pie design

Fantastic design! I especially love the hundo!

Can't wait to see pr0n!
Thanks my friend suggested looking at flags for colour combination ideas and that's why we went red, yellow, green. Yeah I can't wait to get them, may take a while with international shipping and COVID (hopefully not to long though)

If you're in the UK, you should order some 43mm Hybrids from Sun-Fly, they feel wonderful, but if you are set on ABC, choose 43mm ceramics. Great design though.
I did check their website out early on, but didn't find it very user friendly / easy to access the info I wanted. So I tailored my designs to full ceramics and decided to go ABC as their customer service has been really good

Poker Chip Forum is user-friendly and it's easy to access our info. :) Also, emailing Sun-Fly works, they have good customer service as well.

Yeah people here have been extremely helpful. I never e-mailed sunfly to be fair. How would I get samples? I think it would be good if they offered a sample of all their different offerings on the website. I guess I could have asked on here as well. At $15 shipping per time I can't afford to order to many samples

Make a wanted thread for some samples in the classifieds, someone might be able to spare some in the EU.

So much love for the hundo, makes me think I should have tried harder on the others haha (it is my fav as well)

Nothing wrong with the rest of the set, the color matching is nice. There is always going to be 1 or 2 chips that stand out in a set. The spot pattern and color choice on the $100 just make it jump out at you. You & J5 did some nice work.

If you can get your hands on the 43mm SunFly Hybrids that would be a good choice for these. But they will be nice whichever way you decide to go.
