Hello all,

My name is Alec and I wanted to introduce myself. I'm a custom furniture builder based out of the Denver area. My dad (@TX_Golf_N_Poker ) has commissioned me to build a custom poker chip cabinet for his new, growing obsession... and with all the work that has gone into the design he thought that some of y'all on here might be interested as well. He is documenting much of the design and build process on another thread here, but figured I'd go ahead and create an intro post here as well. I fully admit I know next to nothing about poker chips, but I'm quickly getting up to speed we've discussed this cabinet in detail. I'm nearly completed with his cabinet and will be posting some updates soon as I can get some decent quality photos taken.

Looking forward to being a part of your community! Thanks!

Welcome! Looks like it’ll be amazing! Really nice work

I've been trying to find a nice storage/display unit for my chips, too.
Can't wait to see your finished product.

Yes, we do need to get some chips in the drawers for the final photo shoot! @One Eyed Dollar maybe you can help since you live close and said you wanted to see it?
I will gladly rent out my Samurai Palace chips for photo shoots if needed. ;)

If you want some top notch product photos, maybe @justsomedude could set something up at his photo studio near downtown Denver. He's got some sweet chips in his collection too that you could use for the shots.

Denver chippers unite!

I'll be through there in 3 weeks or so. Would be cool to meet you all and maybe even play a game. Hope that I have time to stop in Denver on my way down to Colorado Springs.

Thank you sir! Alec's wife is a talented photography enthusiast, so I expect he has that end covered. But I suppose I should let him speak for himself...
