Not Mine $200 - 1000 Paulson Poker Chips in racks from Hi Desert Casino Adelanto, CA (1975- 97) (2 Viewers)

Probably about the right price for those - 30 cents apiece for paulson bike tires. I won't buy worn clay like that ever again, but some people say they don't mind.

Nothing wrong with well worn bicycle tires.
I'm not like a full blown condition bitch, but I wouldn't say there's nothing wrong with bike tires.
For one, they don't handle well and they shuffle like crap.

Id say the opening bid of$200 is probably a better price
Sure. But if you’re gonna try to grab them for 20 cents apiece, I’ll happily go up to 25 cents apiece, and who knows where it goes from there?
I only said 30 cents apiece was fair, because I think that’s the cheapest I’ve seen Paulson racks going for - those derby chips - a bunch of us relabeled the brown ones to be Cleveland horseshoe fracs.

Did I see this correctly, that someone bid $400, even when there was a Buy It Now price of $300. (I guess I'm assuming the seller didn't or can't change the BIN price)

For what it’s worth, if you’re interested, please for the love of god just PM someone here.

We’re looking at picking up some, and there’s no need to rush over one another. They are bike tires and there are plenty of them.

You’re traveling from France? That’s commitment !

When I looked at it a few minutes before it sold, there was one bid at $199 and the BIN was $400. Clicked back over 30 minutes later and it was sold. So if it was $300 earlier, it must have been changed. Can you do that in eBay? I thought once a listing had been made, it was set. Maybe adjusting down is possible, but I wouldn't think you could adjust your BIN upward.

Yes. Good plan. Set up a thread then so we don't end up running it up outbidding each other. I'm game for a few racks, cause I'm a CHEAP ASS!

You can change anything until there’s a bid then certain things like photos pricing and what not become locked. As for bidding and BINs once there’s a bid the BIN is removed immediately, no if ands or buts.

OK, I guess I misread that there was a bid.

Sounds good. @juankay20 had been talking with them for some time and has good info, but he’s not grabbing a ton. @superchromix already reached out to them as well, so I’m letting him handle the conversation.

Id say do a group PM with both us with how many you want and let him try and make a better deal.

No you can revise a listing anytime
Edit: Tom's right - unless it's been bid on

Anybody get any prices from the seller? I've messaged him to see what deal he would give for a bulk purchase. I'll let folks know what he tells me in the event people want to go in on group buy. I live close enough to the seller to potentially pick-up the chips and avoid some shipping costs.

There may be ifs, ands, or buts. Sometimes.

I have seen listings where the BIN persisted after a bid was placed. Not saying it happened here, just that it may be possible.

From the eBay help page:

Buy It Now option: auctions
When you add a Buy It Now option to auction-style listings, buyers can either purchase your item right away at the Buy It Now price or place a bid. In most categories, the Buy It Now price must be at least 30% higher than the auction price.

When someone bids, the Buy It Now option usually disappears; however, in the case of reserve price listings, the Buy It Now option remains until the reserve price is met. In some categories, the Buy It Now option may continue to be available after the first bid for a limited time.
