Spraying black dryfall (mist turns to powder after a few feet so it can be swept up) on about 6000 sq ft of ceilings. It’s messy, but it pays the bills.

No, the tape lines you see are marking off future walls, bar, etc. in the restaurant. The paint turns to dry powder and can be swept up easily. Plus, all the floors are being replaced.

Ok, makes sense. The dry fall paint is great for cleanup if it falls on a floor, not that fun to breath in though when we are all forced to work in close proximity. Our site is also way too overloaded with staged materials, so most of the dry fall ends up there instead of on the floor.

This is waterbased dryfall, fortunately, so the odor isn’t bad at all.
