I have no experience with any of these things and not sure what I would do with this. All I know is, I kind of want one. What poker related things can I do with this? or non-poker related things?

Is this a good one or should I look at something else? https://www.snapmaker.com/

the laser is 90% useless (well, stupid slow to engrave and only good for cutting paper, maybe) but if you do get it. 1000% make sure it has a shield. People keep selling stuff like that without a shield and it is dangerous

I have the StepCraft D-840 and an Opt 6 watt laser, it is far from useless, I had to get authorization to get it into the country when I bought it. I also have a Raise 3d N2 dual extruder 3d printer. The Stepcraft can also do 3d printing but the Raise 3d is much better for that.

I keep saying I'm going mill chips on the CNC Mill but I can never find the time. I do make my own cardboard chip boxes using the laser. Not sure it saves me much money, but it is cool to do,

Remember the guy on ChipTalk who used to laser engrave chips? They were fantastic. He took a bunch of Sopranos and turned them into Klingon Empire chips. He could also do compressed clays, but the lead was a big issue. With a little black ink on the engraved parts, it looked like a black hotstamp.

And you could make lammers galore. An ex-friend of mine made some dealer buttons.

Used to have a Makerbot 3D printer, early models, not good at all because the nozzle was R0.2mm? Stripes can be clearly seen from what we printed out.

CNC milling on the other hand is much more useful, maybe you can make some brass chips with the machine? Saw some pretty neat samples from G2E Vegas back in 2012, can't recall which company was making them, but the chips seem very attractive. And of course, expensive.

I've been following this guys's channel for some time, very interesting to me:

Someone was doing laser engraving on Faux Clays years ago. I remember seeing it on ChipTalk.
I thought they looked pretty good. Don't remember why it didn't go anywhere.
