Binion's 5K on eBay

What's the deal right now? Did some people just discover Binion's Horseshoe chips are radioactive and are unloading them on us unsuspecting fools? Should I be worried?

No worries...that’s my auction. I’m unloading a number of chips and sample sets. Thinking about a small ceramic set with the profits. I must say, you guys pick up on these auctions pretty quick!

You tell me not to worry about radiation in these chips, but I can't help but notice you are wearing a hazmat suit right now while you re-assure me...

I actually hadnt planned on selling it, then I saw what nezara was getting for them in his classified post...amazing how much the prices have increased in the 12-15 years since I bought it
I put the over under at $150
If you post them here you could probably get just about the same without losing 13% to fees

If this goes for less than $150 I am actually going to be angry based on the recent prices for Binion's stuff. A 10K orange Bud Jones chip just slipped through the cracks on Sunday and sold for cheap right after I bought one and I'm still steaming.
Angry? You got my sample set for an absolute STEAL! What’s there to be angry about?

I can tell you I’ve been betting for the last 2+ months on just about every single Binion’s chip that has been on eBay - and now I’m good, so hopefully the prices will come down for some of you - have purchased close to 80 chips in single auctions over the last few months - and it’s literally the same 5-7 people that I’m biding against

Welcome to eBay wars on PCF. Watch out for Tom

I'm about to shift and go full Binion's Horseshoe singles collector so thanks for getting out of the way.

I've noticed prices are going down the past week. Hmm, wonder why. It's almost like the market has been flooded!

A bit off topic - but just finished the book blood aces , and that pumped up some of my Binions desires on some of the earlier singles. I knew some of the stories already, but didn’t know a lot of the stories told in the book. Quick fun read :)

I must read this...just did a bit of research, looks like it was ready to make into a film back in 2015. With all the Tiger King crap out there, the shelve THIS for 5 years?!?!?

Yeah, I read somewhere that it maybe made into a show now instead of a movie ? I picked a hardback used version off eBay for like 3 bucks... really enjoyed all the stories, and I live in Dallas where a lot of it takes place :)

Sorry I didn’t keep this auction “in house”... I was active on Chiptalk back in ‘06-‘07, but only started looking through my small collection. I figured since I was brand new here, the trust factor wouldn’t be high enough for a classified. Plus, I had no idea what a close-knit group it all is!
