So I just purchased a set of dunes from someone from the forum. I don't know how to tag the person so I can't give them credit.... Sorry.
But I have the following breakdown

100x0.25c
200x $1
400x $5
75x $25
25x $100

I know this is good enough for the following games:
0.25/0.25
0.25/0.50
0.50/0.50

But would this set be enough for the below games?? :
0.50/$1
$1/$1
$1/$2

Good up to 1/1 or shallow (or short-handed) 1/2.
Not very practical having quarters instead of halves, though, for .50/.50 or .50/1.
1/1 seems to be your best bet, for a higher-stakes game.

Wishing to go up in stakes (ie eventually to 1/2) among "ordinary" people is a challenge NOT so much chip-wise, but rather player-wise.
You 'll have to find, among the general public, 6-8 nice and honest people (not grinders or thieves), not clueless in poker, wishing to risk at least 300BBs ($600 in that case) even on a monthly basis. Good luck finding them :)

Yeah I think you're good for all of that for a single table anyway.

Personally I like more singles in 0.50 BB games and under, but you do have one barrel per player which I think is fine. 100 quarters is certainly sufficient. 400 Fives means two barrels per player which is good for the bigger games, if you find your 1/2 game is playing bigger you might want even more fives. If you get into 2-5 or 5-5 you will want to get a couple racks of twenty-fives for sure.

So in a sense, i like this set better for the bigger games, and I would consider adding two racks of singles for the smaller games, but I don't think that's mandatory.

But where you're at for what you listed, I say it should work well.

I am said person :)

Originally the set didnt have quarters. I bought it for 1/1 and 1/2. we had a fairly big 1/1 game that got to £2200 in buyins. With a bank of £6600 you'll be fine for anything up to 1/2 really. the shed would have to be rocking for you to get over 6k on the table!

My replacement set only has a bank of £2000 as we play 0.25/0.50 and 0.50/1 more than anything

If you find any, let me know too! That's why I have dropped the bank down. If I want a full ring game with 300BB a seat I have to go to the casino...I tried to get 1/2 going with this set before selling it.

I meant 3 buy-ins of 100BBs each, but still hard to find honest and friendly people for home games, at those stakes.
If you 've got the deep game crew, buy another 75 $25s and 25 $100s and you 're set. :)

Awesome! Shed is getting there first game there was £1100 on the table!!

I'd say this is a really good setup for all of games you've specified. A rack of quarters should suffice, in my opinion; that's what I carry for my 0.25 / 0.25 game and it is easy enough to take change from the pot if someone min raises pre or bumps it up to 0.75.

Needless to say, to make a home game survive, give some "white meat", ie crucial poker knowledge, to your unsuspecting social friends, so that they become better in poker. Do share, to a degree, the knowledge coming from your reading poker books. People with young children (especially them) will never have the time or energy to read about poker.

If they loose consistently, you 'll loose them as players. Give them a chance.
At the end of the day, it's not about getting the money of your friends and acquaintances, but rather having a nice-level, competitive, sportsman-like entertaining game.
