I picked up this pretty looking chip set a couple of years ago, and I was hoping to find more of this exact set to expand my collection, but I can’t find this set anywhere. I was referred to this board by a friend to see if you all could help me out, because he said if I couldn’t find the answer here, there was no answer. TIA!

No thanks. If they are as worthless as you claim them to be, I’ll pass on yours and keep looking around.
That is awfully stubborn. You just did the equivalent of going on a car collector forum and talking up a rusted 1975 Ford Pinto and where can you get some new hubcaps. My good man Klob could have been a little nicer, but his deal was as good as you will find. No other members may even have any of your chips.

I'm not the expert on this site, but, to expound, I believe your chips are cheap knockoffs of Paulson Classics.....you can do a search on that to see if I am right. They are fine for playing poker, an it looks like you have PLENTY of chips there for most games, so it really depends what you really seek.....Why do you want -MORE- chips? or do you want NICER chips.....why do you think you need more of those? We can help if you can state your goals a bit better.

I was looking to see if they had different denominations, especially quarter chips for a cash game, and then higher denominated chips for a tournament set.

Man, if you pass up essentially free chips and skip the opportunity to add onto a set, even if you don't need them, you'll never fit in here.

But I guess that's expecting too much for someone from Columbus... (Go Blue!) :cool

Gosh Larry, I was thinking the same thing ..

@AnthoAmick , I'd still reconsider the offer from @Klobberer . He really meant you no offense. You just haven't been around here amongst us degens and our passion for these chips man! Take it as with a grain of salt, take the free chips.

AAAANNNDDD - a warm welcome to the forum!
Seriously. Lighten up guys not everyone is a stupid as we are when it comes to little round objects.

@AnthoAmick welcome. Try and post a wanted in the classified but most members here are willing to pay 10x what you and most players would consider sane. Since these fall under that threshold its unlikely anyone would have kept these (or bought them) if they came across them. Good luck with your search!

@Klobberer your offer was awesome. If I had that set and was looking to expand it, I wouldn't turn down free chips. Even if they were cheapos that I might not need.

Time and time again, people on this forum surprise me with their generosity.
