My wife and kids don't give a rat's ass about my chips. In the case of my untimely demise, I want them to get what they're worth. I'd ask @MegaTon44 to oversee the sale and make sure my family got what they are worth. Who would you choose to look out for your chipping legacy?

PS...Dan, make them keep the custom hot stamp T Molds!

Luckily I don’t have a wide berth of chips yet, so I have a little bit of time to figure this out before it’s a necessity.

I suppose for now, everyone currently holding chips for me or waiting to send chips throughout the US would be their new owners!

Congrats guys!

For me, it's my soul brother (as odd as that may seem to others), and the one person with more straight-up integrity I know in the entire chipping world (and tied for most-honest person I know in the entire world).

I'm doing my best to lessen his load for when the time comes. :)

10 to 12 - Seven day auctions that start at a Penny when it's time. THEN THE BATTLE STARTS.

Jesus, this thread is morbid.

it definitely is, but I guess for me turning 40 has brought on a realization more so than any other time in my life that this go around IS going to end some time and the need to have a plan of some sort is important. I know DD started his thread as more of a stress relief valve than anything serious, for me it still carries some weight on the serious side.

Getting old sucks. Lol

Also, every forum I’ve ever been a part of, from firearms to golf to cars to dirt bikes to whatever the running joke has always been “guys/gals, if I die unexpectedly please don’t let my wife/husband/whatever sell my collection for what I told them I paid.” So funny, and for me sooooo true. ;)

My will is very detailed in the event of catastrophe. Since my family flies so much there are contingencies for who would taker over depending on who dies...but my single corona death? I would have my oldest son consult with Scott Goodrich. None are more honest and dependable than he.

So, uhhhh, no one let BarrieJ3 know, but at some point, I'm going to be returning to France. Now is your chance to get him to purchase a shit ton of things and have it shipped to you.
I also sent him the address of a couple of mexican food places in Paris. And they're good food, so I'm sure if I wait around a day or so, I'll see him, and then you all have new chips.
Just send me a rack of something. I'll figure it out later. It's what I've done for more than a decade.

Mike

I'm touched by your words, my friend. I certainly fall short of my own standards in many things, man, but trust is something my dad taught me to never, ever break.

I hope you are taking care of yourself, brother. And that that is what you meant by lessen my load, LOL!!! ;) (I know you meant selling chips though).

Be safe!!

Mike must count as two...
Says the guy who has integrity oozing our of every orifice.

I would like to hire a joint team of Chipsdealer and Silks to work out my chip related affairs.

On a serious note I feel any of our SE Michigan friends would step in and do an honorable job to help out! Just another reminder of the cool people I have been blessed to meet over the years.

There are about 15 guys on here doing their research, trying to figure out how to put the moves on your widows.

mine are being added to the poured foundation of my mausoleum

When I die peacefully in my sleep at a ripe old age (not screaming in terror like the passengers in my car), I think I will draw on @Psypher1000 and @bentax1978 to look after my estate's interests in this regard. Of course, I trust that Scott doesn't just go off the reservation, grabbing the Riversides and giggling maniacally as he runs into the hills...or as he calls it, Monday.
