According to a thread (or two) at Reddit, PokerGo is free for a month.

Go to pokergo.com, sign-in/create an account- click "subscribe" - choose the $10 option & scroll down to "redeem code" (bottom of the page) & enter "watchparty".

** it sets up "autobilling"- so turn it off if you don't want to be charged after the 30day cycle.

Just signed up, my first watch is a special on Moneymaker's WSOP run. Any other suggestions?

I've been a PokerGO subscriber for a few years now. Pretty much since it launched, I think. I have been disappointed from the beginning.

The production values are great. The studios look awesome and I enjoy some of their exclusive content like their new Poker After Dark stuff and Holidays with Helmuth, etc, but the delivery is horrible on anything other than a browser on a PC. On my phone or my Nvidia Shield TV (running Android TV), the software very rarely remembers where I left off and the playback controls only allow you to fast forward 10 or 15 seconds at a time. On a 6 hour video this is unacceptable.

It's like they put tons of money into creating content, but then completely disregard how that content is consumed. Things like I mentioned will frustrate their user base and get in the way of the overall success of the venture. Who cares how great the content is if it's a frustrating, painstaking task to watch it?

Plus, the WSOP sucked for anyone who was not in the U.S All the CBS shows on PokerGO were not available in Canada. That may be more on the CRTC than on PokerGO, I realize.

Lately, there has been nothing new added to the platform that I am dying to watch. It's great that they have HSP now, but there hasn't been any new tournaments or cash games played on PokerGO for a few months.

With some really good poker available to watch on Youtube (Poker Night in America, Triton Poker, PartypokerTV Live, etc), I am struggling to see the value in maintaining a PokerGO subscription.

I have sent several emails to their customer service/support stating the issues with playback on Android. They do not seem to care. I think that is a mistake.
