Hey! First of all, this is my first post here. I searched for this topic but could only find posts on Clay chips.

I have a few slightly warped plastic chips that I'd like to try and flatten. I've read the posts on flattening, but was wondering if the process is the same for plastic chips?

If any of you have an idea i'd greatly appreciate it.

Thanks,
Felix

No, there's nothing about that them that's worth saving - i just happen to have some laying around and i'd like to use them when bringing them on holiday or at friends places.

Id day try it and give us a write up. That’s how that original post got there.

My honest opinion... some members like using solar power for flattening chips by clamping and putting them on the black top or dark surface in direct sun light... I would try this for about a half an hour to 45 minutes with decent pressure. Bring them back inside and let them cool about an hour and a half to room temp before opening the clamp. I don't know if anyone has ever tried before so definitely trial and error... I would not put them in the oven myself like many if us do with clay chips!! Welcome to the forum and best of luck!!
