Hello everyone,

Stumbled across this forum a few weeks ago and decided to join today.

Been playing poker off and on for years. For the past 2 years, been playing with friends and neighbors every couple months. It’s more of a social game with the buy in ranging anywhere between $10-$20. I want to start playing more and I’ve been bored with my current poker set…….a 500ct dice chip set which I’ve had for a very long time.

After my last poker game in which I hosted about a month ago, I started researching poker chips and came across Hobbyphilic on Youtube and that was it. I fell in love with the Tiki King chips. Ordered a bunch of chips from BR PRO and this forum led me to purchase the Apache 3800 for traveling purchases. I’m no poker pro or anything but I can see how these chips can become an addiction J. I love my Tiki Kings already!

I’m looking forward to being more involved with this community.

Hi welcome. lots of helpful members on here to assist with any questions you might have. in regards to letting it become an addiction if you try to keep it to what you actually need and use to host your games that can help set parameters on overspending/acquiring. and maybe have a rule that after acquiring you have to sell what you don’t need or won’t need in the future. easier said than done.

hello and welcome! Tiki set is a very nice ceramic set to start with. I myself order my first ceramic chips (nevada jacks) from BR Pro as well. Kristil and Gene have been extremely helpful.

Did you manage to get the discount they were giving to PCF here? think it just ended a few days ago.

Welcome!

I have a similar story and went Tiki Kings as well but did the Nanuk case instead.

Did you get 8 racks in there or just 4? Kinda envious of getting a few decks in there as well.
