Packaged neatly and everything looks great.

I decided not to bother with edge spots on the faces of the chips (I like it better like this)

And if you ask them they sell the ChipCo racks at a really great price too!

Love these chips! Long live micro stakes!

Apache cases from Harbor Freight are great for storage. I’d have to do look again, but I believe mine is a 3800 and holds 1000, or 800 plus a card setup and DB’s. Maybe a 4800 or two 2800’s would do the trick.

FWIW I also hate 1,000-chip birdcages but find 600-chip birdcages perfectly workable.

I find the weight of 1000 chips in the birdcage to be the only thing actually workable - a 600 chip birdcage would be too light for me to put in my Jeep and take anywhere. As soon as I hit a pothole (potholes reproduce in litters in this part of the country) chips are now everywhere. A friend of mine suggested we use extra foam padding from re-doing the poker table to line a pirate treasure chest. Really thinking about stuff like that.

Did you ever decide on a case for your 1,200 chip set? We love the Apache cases from Horrible Freight!! They hold 1,400 total pull pull your owown foam would easily work for 1,200 chips in the 4800 series, and have extra space for accessories

Beautiful micro set @tabletalker7!! I also agree bird cages suck! Unless you are using them to display chips on a shelf and move them to the poker table. And that's it!! Put it in the car and enjoy picking up all the singles that shook loose when you get where you are going!!! Lol

So that 4800 case can hold 1000 chips with some room for a card setup and a DB? @tabletalker7 what case do you have there with what looks like 1200 chips, plaques and two card setups?

I just purchased the Nanuk 915 for a 600 chip setup and I love the case. Pricier than the Apache cases but there's something about the Nanuk cases that I really like over Apache and Pelican cases. I'd be looking at the Nanuk 930 for the 1000 chips as it has similar inner dimensions as the Apache 4800 case.

Apache 4800 - people use the 3800 for 1000 chips.

Fits perfectly - Nanuk 915. Just ordered the 930 for a 1000 ceramic set coming soon.
