Example:

SB adds a €50 chip on top of his €2 chip that was already out there as his small blind
Dealer says: raise - €52
SB says, "oh no, I meant to call! But yeah, one chip rule doesn't apply here because of the two chips, I get it."
Gets two callers, check raises the flop all in and gets called.
Shows aces and grins smugly.
