I am looking at changing out the plain jane cloth and replace it with a custom cloth from Chanman. So I am looking at doing something that you might have seen in the old Trop days. Maybe a bit plain jane but something not over the top. I worked on the following with is kind of a basic cloth design that you might find in many casinos having both a betting line and casino logo(s).

I did one in a two tone green and one in a two tone brown/beige. I can go to a solid color but I thought the difference in color looked nice.

So I am asking for input from the community. First is color likes or dislikes or recommendations and secondly is design, keeping in mind I am trying to keep a Vegas or Old Vegas look. One Larger Logo Centered? Two logos but one facing up and the other facing the other direction? Thoughts??? Input???

Note... For some reason the light green turned a bit neon looking and does not look like that in photoshop. I cannot get the right color to show when uploaded.

Thanks,
David O

Likewise, I like the two tone aspect, but I think the logos are maybe a little small and could get lost? Also, one facing the other way would look better imho.

2 logos, one facing other way. Green much better than brown/beige in my opinion. I like it. Real casino look, simple logo nothing over the top.

Added bonus is the community cards/pot are not hiding the logo if it's not dead center.

Assuming black rail, I like the two tone green if not neon. Flip one logo, make it larger. Make betting line a very dark green to blend them?

I like the green, but I agree that the logos should be a little larger. And maybe make the betting line the same red as in the logo rather than the yellow.

I was about 95% with going green but wanted some inout to put me over the top! Anyway I took some of the other comments and reworked Some more. First I tried to change the green to reflect more of a natural color (did not work for some reason), and went with the darker green bet line with both logos facing the same and one rotated at 180 degrees.

Then I did a two mockups with a red bet line and finally for grins I mocked another one up with a matching blue bet line. So Let me know what you think!

I am using CS5 and when I convert the picture to a jpeg the color appears correctly on my computer but once I upload it to this thread it changes the green to a more brighter green. I do not know why but it I cannot get the correct green to show after uploading it.

Problem Solved. I went in and saw that they were saved as CYMK and for the web they need to be RGB. Take a look at these

David,

I vote greens. I'd flip one logo so each side of the table can enjoy. I like your mockups very much. The line dividing the colors could be a little more subtle. Kind of harsh to me.

Great work!

I like the green line and suggestion to rotate the images 90 degrees.

red line, images facing outwards towards ends

Ok I just got back and saw what was suggested. I am also leaning toward "facing the ends". I reworked both using CS5 with the subtle green line and the red line. Those that said green are correct but the red line kind of pops! I may have to start a poll on both.

Thanks for the input!

Both look good, I think now it's a matter of preference.

You should order both ;)

Could you please try one more version with the logos at the end, but facing the other way? I'm wondering if the curve of the Tropicana font will look better against the curve of the edge. Plus I like making you work. ;)

LOL. Well I am pretty certain I will be ordering at least one. I just await the color wheel so I can load the correct colors and then send you the art ready to go. I will get with you later but I may order and pick it up at the Rumble if that's okay?

No problem-O, though shipping is free/included with your purchase.

I have a color wheel cloth from TChan, if you want it. We can meet for lunch this week.
