Ordinarily not my preferred brand, but I'm looking for these if there are any deals to be had at the moment. Who's got the best price these days?

Plenty willing to buy branded or otherwise custom designed cards (closed casino, WSOP, etc.) if the price is low.

I don't mean for this to be a WTB here - not looking to buy used or opened decks or setups, only NIB, but I thought someone here might have seen an eBay auction or vendor sale that I'd missed.

Looking for bridge size only. Slight preference for larger than standard index, but interested in any index.

Thanks in advance!

In a perfect world pre-USPC, but I have no hope of finding a deal on those, so I was thinking new.
I hate to say this, but honestly dont waste your time on post USPC kems, they are complete garbage, utter and complete garbage, the corners get bent from the first bridge, shuffle, or rifle. Then you'll just stare at them and be like, why did i waste time on these.

Chip Room had a deal on Post USPC Kems over a year ago. $10/setup, at that price, maybe...they still get ruined after shuffling once, though.

I agree with you to a point and that's why I said in the OP that these would not be my preferred brand, but I'm not buying for me.

But thanks for the heads up re: The Chip Room. I'll email Jim.

In the meantime if anyone else has a link or recommendation, I'm all ears.

FYI none available through The Chip Room, so still looking.

I have a setup of Black/Gold Arrow USPC cards. It only took an hour of play before one of the corners chipped, rendering that deck unplayable.

Friends don't let friends buy USPC cards. ;)

Friends sell friends their old pre-USPC cards :)

Kind of pointless to argue my anecdotal experience against anyone else's, but the game I'm buying them for has been using USPC KEMs exclusively for at least a few months now for a minimum of 40 hours per week and I haven't seen a card chip yet.

My opposition to USPC KEMs is that in my experience they warp badly.

Not sure if it's the best deal but has to be pretty close. Playingcards.net has them for $25 and you can use a PCF10 for a 10% discount (think it still works).

I saw some on eBay for $20 shipped

Yeah, mine was probably a one-off.

Im in the Fourniers camp at the moment, $26 off Amazon. Really nice cards.

It looks like @manamongkids already found a couple of his auctions, but the cheapest seller I found on eBay is; merz67
I bought a setup from them a couple months ago, when I was looking for a friend. They are in Cincy, so I don't know if they work for USPC, or have a direct hookup, but it's the best price I found; looking around $20/setup.

Yes, those are the ones. I don't recall the size or index off hand.

Unfortunately, they sat unopened for a few years, and because so much time had passed I didn't contact the vendor. They were stored in an environment that I find comfortable, which means not hot, not cold, not humid, and not dry. (As a delicate flower, I have a very narrow comfort range.)

I have some other cards that I could use with the good deck of Kems. However, I'm enamored with Fournier 2826 for Congress cards, and my other setups are feeling left out.

Abby if you don't have some Fourniers, try some. I think you will really appreciate them.

Best described as cards that have a paper like texture to them, yet are plastic, with all the benefits that come with plastic cards.

They just feel great. And I know. I shuffled dozens and dozens of times during heads up that lasted an hour? I still need an automatic shuffled that doesn't cost $1,000.000.

I have several setups of Fournier 2826 for Congress cards, love them, and play with them more than any other setup that I own, and I own quite a few.

Are all the latest KEM cards crappy? What about KEM Paisley?

Thanks to @Jackstraw for hooking me up with 6 setups!

Still on the lookout for more if you've got them.

Obv not a lot of love for KEMs generally, but in case anyone specifically wants WSOP decks, this guy has 2011 WSOP setups for $15 with free shipping:

I have a setup of these and I like them. No warping after several years. I do think these are the controversial cards that some WSOP players claimed had printing issues that allowed players to distinguish certain black cards from the back. I could find nothing on my cards, but I'm not a WSOP player.

It's the low spades (4, 5, etc). I have a setup of these, and I can see it, but it's subtle and depends on the lighting conditions.

So if KEMs are out, what are the say top 3 cards at the moment?
