[VIDEO] The Greatest Poker Chip (2016) - Amazon Prime (1 Viewer)

Not sure if he's a member. Hobbyphilic is the YouTube user I'm thinking of, pretty sure same guy.

He makes great vids, but I've seen him change his opinions on the china clays way too often. Vids have wonderful PrOn though. All worth watching.

I didn't need to watch the video to learn that "Pokerchips" is one word o_O

Yep, this video sold me on the Nevada Jacks, with his nice review. Particularly, after the blender test. :ROFLMAO:

I've recently received a genuine sample set. Also, this may be my first cash set, after I move back to The States.

The title of the video is "The Greatest Pokerchips". I guess I was making a failed attempt at sarcasm by recognizing that "Pokerchips" is actually 2 words. Would seem to be a glaring mistake for a video/book publisher to make

Ah crap. Sorry I didn't notice that. I hate when I ruin someone's joke. :(

He's on a summer break but I'm eagerly waiting to hear what his final chip of choice is. I know last year the Milanos were in the top 3 (and keep in mind his choices are only from the readily commercially available chips, not the Wynn chips for example). That's why I like his vids. He's value focused.

Ha someone liked my post. Check his channel. He went with the Milanos after all!!! I'm pretty happy with my chips.

He's a bit of an odd duck. He'll spend 20 minutes talking about an abs chip. I know not all china clays are exactly the same, but doing a 20-30 minute video on each one, discerning the differences, is a little bit much. But I'll take it; more information is usually better than less.

I think the guy is great. Wish he would make more vids!!

I'm going to start making my own videos and start a YouTube channel of my own so everyone can watch me talk about mundane poker chip related things :)

Edit: Totally started my own YouTube channel to show up HobbyPhillic.

Odd duck, good dude. Saved me from dropping coin on misleading Claysmith plastics last winter. Videos are certainly on the "more information is better" side. He focuses only on "readily in stock" chips you can buy anytime, which include Key Wests which got a good review. Outside of those rules he's a Paulson snob. Says he's a lurker and not a member. Keep it up Jon.

Im glad he picked Milanos as his #1 China clay :)

Yeah, but he's pretty much said that he went with Milanos because they're widely available everywhere. Which is strange criteria, considering he only reviews chips that are in production and readily available to the consumer market.

Milanos are my least favorite China Clay of the ones I've owned/handled (Milanos, DPs, Pharaoh's, Dunes (only a sample), Majestics, CPS). They just feel so weird to me. The design is kind of boring to me too but I remember liking the design before I owned them so maybe I am colored by how they actually feel.

Which ones are the DPs (besides the porn version)?
