I know Hard Knocks is edited TV but this years series seem to prove:
- Fisher has become the most complacent coach of all time. He's just a figure with no valid sense of urgency or purpose.
- The Rams have zero swagger.
- All the assistant coaches (except maybe Mike Singletary) could not lack insight any more than they do now. They think coaching is about telling players how fuckin bad they are without providing professional guidance or motivation.
- Steve McNair (and to a smaller degree Vince Young) are even greater than their legacy sits. They made Fisher look better vs other way around but its taken the last 5-8 years for me to realize this point.

McNair, yes. Was awesome at every level.
Young - he is junk, was junk and always will be junk at the professional level. He was an idiot incapable of learning quality timing plays, or what a 3 step drop meant. Thought he could fix any play with his feet, could not figure out that pros move a hell of a lot faster than college boys. The only reason he stuck in TN so long was because he was Bud Adams (then Titans Owner) pet project. Fisher was so upset with the garbage of Young Adams fired Fisher. At no time should the players be allowed to run the team.
Philly then took a shot with him, and he sucked. Then the Bills thought he would be worthy. They were wrong. Then GB, and then Cleveland.
When you're not good enough to make the squad with Cleveland, it's time to give up football.
Beyond that, I agree that Fisher is the master of mediocrity.
