Chip redemption notice - Rockingham Park (1 Viewer)

Didn't go when it listed the tables to be auctioned in bunches....of course they went singles and I missed out. Oh well. At least I am finally finishing painting the new deck before winter (y)

If they were nice, someone did very well

They're that expensive, huh? I have no frame of reference for roulette wheel pricing. All I knew was that it was a lot more than anything else in that room was going for.

a lot of hate early in this thread, come to find out everyone attended and walked away with numerous tables chairs and chips.

Right? Imagine my shock after seeing all the disinterest in this thread, and then quietly deciding to scout and attend the auction myself, only to find it infiltrated by PCFers.

We didn't think the chips were available at first - I personally wouldn't have touched anything else and the chips would get a very thorough bath. Honestly, that dump was depressingly disgusting.

That was one of my first actions upon getting home. The less time I let this funk sit around in my apartment, the better.

Whoever bought the kitchen equipment from that place better have an Atlantic Ocean worth of sanitizer.

I wouldn't have bought anything from that dump. Went there half dozen times or so and immediately took a scrub brush to myself when I got home. Seriously one of the filthiest rooms I have ever been to. It reminded me of the old Lincoln park in RI. Something about dogtracks.

Kinda surprised to see the chips were ceramic. The last time I was there they were ABS hotstamped pos.

The ABS ones were used on the lower buy in tourneys. One time I was playing a $40 and went to call $100. I picked up 1 black chip and three more were stuck to it. I guess they had seperation anxiety.

I somehow missed this thread but Tim mentioned it randomly in text yesterday or Thursday. I flirted with the idea of coming up for it, but he and Jeff made plans to go and Tim offered to bid on the chips for me so I stayed home and played cards all night and organized my piece of the purchase from bed this morning.

Thanks to @GrumpyCatMalaka for doing the buying and organizing with me and Tim and Jim coming at him with our requests.

Tim is unphazed by the disgustingness of Rockingham and is ready to nom nom Jeff's auction lot.

Hopefullly that strain of aids passed thru the rock is not contagious

I almost went but thought the chips and tables were in Session 1 @ 9AM.

Nice pick up.

You can run cars converted to vegetable oil on these chips. Just pop in a 25 when you getting low.

Those wheels are sick.

I'd use it to assign tournament seats somehow if I ever scored one of those. Or just spin it all day and say "weeeeee."

Just think. Those are the ones that hardly anyone uses anymore. I'd like to see the price tag of one of the mostly automated versions that big casinos use.
